Fall 2021: Pruning Workshop

Given By Liz McKinley

Come join us at this free workshop to learn about how to keep your trees well pruned and looking nice and tidy during the late summer. This is the first of multiple workshops in "Fall River as a Green City" series.

Summer & Fall 2021: Tree Farm

Maintenance in Front: Prune willow bushes, donate and plant mums and some daffodils. Weeding!

Maintenance in Tree Farm: Remove dead trees, Prune the trees that are there there are three. Fall River residents who are willing to plant a few in their yard knowing the condition of the trees. However we need to improve all the trees shapes or remove.

Purchasing new trees: Current trees not suitable fir Street Tree Plantings. Board needs ti decide what we purchase for planting this year.

Outreach to donate older trees to Fall River residents. Some trees may be able to go into North Park not certain what us needed at North Park. Liz will conduct a North Park inventory.
