We were given a Greening the Gateway reimbursement grant up to $12,000, available to use up to 6/30/2022. Our initial response is to plan an Arbor Day event. We thank the Department of Conservation and Recreation for their support.
M.A.G Irrigation will be shutting off the irrigation system, next week. We hope to get the grass cut one more time. We would welcome any volunteer support. The bee-ology plot will need bags of leaves to help put it to bed. If you bag your leaves, think of us and make a donation!
The Fall River Women’s Union is planning a Daffodil Planting at Oak Grove Cemetery as a memorial to past members. It was inspired by the life of Linda Schofield and one of her last wishes, to have daffodils planted for all to enjoy. When the date is announced FRSTPP volunteers would be welcomed to join in planting 250 bulbs.
